Ballon d'Or: a promising prediction for Michael Olise
Following Harry Kane’s triumph, Bayern Munich want to see another of their players win the Ballon d’Or in the future.
In recent hours, Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen expressed particular confidence in Michael Olise. "I am 100% convinced that Michael will win the Ballon d’Or during his career. Here, he benefits from an environment that allows him to shine, with teammates with whom he gets along very well on the pitch. That is how you can reach the highest individual level. You can be the best player on the planet, but if you do not have teammates to help you, it is pointless," the German executive said in comments relayed by the Munich club.
Hugo Lloris makes a prediction about Mbappé
On Monday, Kylian Mbappé finished second in the 2026 Ballon d'Or behind Bayern Munich centre-forward Harry Kane. For Hugo Lloris, the France captain will win this individual accolade in the future.
"The planets had not yet aligned for him, but that will make him even stronger; he has everything it takes to win it one day," the former France goalkeeper said in the pages of French daily L'Equipe on Tuesday.
