OFFICIAL: TS Galaxy part ways with Adnan Beganovic
Betway Premiership club TS Galaxy have parted ways with head coach Adnan Beganovic after a string of poor results.
The Rockets are winless in their last 10 league outings, with their last win dating back to January in a 2-0 triumph over Marumo Gallants.
Galaxy have since plummeted all the way to 12th with 25 points accumulated from 25 matches, which saw their top eight hopes diminish.
The Bosnian mentor left the club alongside Technical Adviser Nermin Basic, with former Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker set to take over in the interim.
“TS Galaxy FC has parted ways with Coach Adnan Beganovic and his Technical Adviser, Nermin Basic following a string of unfortunate results in the Betway Premiership,” read the club statement.
"TS Galaxy FC President and Club Chairman Tim Sukazi stated as follows: 'It is quite unfortunate that we had to come at a decision to part ways with Coaches Adnan and Nermin following the unfortunate string of results in the Betway Premiership. They both made a huge contribution to our Club in a very short period. We thank both for their professionalism, commitment, hard work, and wish them well in their future endeavors.
“Coach Bernard Parker will take over the coaching duties in an interim capacity.”
Galaxy will be looking to snap the poor streak when they host relegation-threatened Magesi FC at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday, 26 April.
