TS Galaxy register Fiacre Ntwari interest
Exclusive
Foot Africa understands that Betway Premiership side TS Galaxy have expressed interest in Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 26-year-old goalie is on the fringes after refusing to be substituted off in a Carling Knockout Cup tie against Stellenbosch FC back in October last year as Stellies ultimately triumphed on penalties.
He arrived at Naturena in July 2024 from TS Galaxy and was limited to just eight appearances across all competitions, keeping a solitary clean sheet in the process.
The Rwanda international put pen to paper on a deal that runs until June 2028, with an option to extend his stay for a further 12 months.
Now, with Chiefs having signed Renaldo Leaner on a free transfer from Sekhukhune United, this publication has been informed that Ntwari is up for an exit.
The Soweto giants, however, are not actively looking to sanction a permanent departure as the hierarchy retains trust in the shot-stopper.
Galaxy are understood to have registered concrete interest in Ntwari amid Ira Tape's error proneness, particularly in the previous campaign.
Whether Ntwari returns to the Rockets remains to be seen, with the player a popular figure at the club owing to his previous exploits at the Tim Sukazi-owned club.
