The U17 Africa Cup of Nations concludes this Tuesday with a highly anticipated final showdown between Tanzania and Senegal. Kick-off is set for 19:00 GMT at the Hassan Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.

Tanzania is set to play in its first-ever continental final at this level. The young Tanzanian squad booked their place by knocking out Egypt in a dramatic penalty shootout after a goalless draw (0-0).

The reigning champions, Senegal, are chasing a second consecutive crown. The Lion Cubs of Teranga secured their spot in the final by overcoming hosts Morocco in a penalty shootout (7-6) after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

For this final, the Referees’ Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Algerian Mohamed Rafiq Aouina as the main referee.

He will be assisted by his compatriot Yacine Ouard Ben Salama and Tunisian Yacine Saâdaoui, with Cameroonian Willy Stéphane serving as the fourth official.
