UEFA Champions League final / PSG - Arsenal: Dembélé levels the score for the Parisians with a penalty
PSG found the breakthrough in the second half. Thanks to a penalty converted by Ousmane Dembélé after a foul on Kvaratskhelia, the Parisians have brought the game back to level terms against Arsenal.
PSG got back into the match in the 64th minute thanks to Ousmane Dembélé. The French international slotted home a penalty won by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia after Cristhian Mosquera fouled him inside the box.
Already booked earlier, Arsenal’s right-back escaped a second yellow card that would have left the Gunners down to ten men. This decision is sure to spark debate given the circumstances of the play.
Immediately after the Parisian equalizer, Mikel Arteta responded by making two substitutions. Mosquera was replaced by Jurrien Timber, while Martin Ødegaard made way for Viktor Gyökeres to inject fresh energy into the London side.
