UEFA Champions League: semi-final schedule

The UEFA Champions League quarter-finals have delivered their verdict. Four prestigious clubs continue their European crown dream. Here are the tantalizing semi-final matchups.

PSG vs Arsenal: explosive duel in sight

Paris Saint-Germain had a scare. Beaten 3-2 at Aston Villa on Tuesday night, the Parisians relied on their 3-1 first-leg victory to reach the last four. A qualification earned in pain, but one that showcases the resilience of Luis Enrique's men.

In the semi-finals, the French capital's club will face Arsenal. The Gunners, impressive against Real Madrid in the first leg (3-0), conceded a narrow defeat in the return (1-2), yet managed their double confrontation overall. A promising clash between two attacking teams.

Barça vs Inter: guaranteed European flavor

FC Barcelona did the heavy lifting in the first leg against Borussia Dortmund with a convincing 4-0 victory. The 3-1 defeat in Germany was not enough to challenge their qualification (aggregate score: 5-3). The Catalans continue their impressive European campaign.

They will now face Inter Milan, solid and realistic against Bayern Munich. The Lombard club managed to eliminate one of the tournament favorites and promises to be a formidable opponent for Hansi Flick's men.

Semi-final schedule:

First legs (April 29 and 30)

  • Arsenal vs PSG
  • FC Barcelona vs Inter Milan

Second legs (May 6 and 7)

  • PSG vs Arsenal
  • Inter Milan vs FC Barcelona

The date is set for May 31, the grand final at the Allianz Arena in Munich. The suspense remains: who will lift the coveted trophy this year?
