Valenciennes wants to sign Mamadou Camara!
Racing Club de Lens is the team expected to sign Mamadou Camara starting next season. The young Senegalese player of Malian origin is currently in negotiations with foreign and French clubs and it seems that next season will be far from Racing Club.
The former Dakar Sacré-Cœur player will see his contract with his current club expire on June 30 and it is expected that we will soon see him with a new team. Valenciennes, who compete in Ligue 1 (Ligue 3), want to sign the talented 22-year-old Senegalese player.
A real desire to have a better experience outside or inside France
Although the player is getting real interest from several big European clubs in France and other countries, he is also getting real interest from Dijon FCO, Boulogne and RWD Molenbeek as well.
The 2024/25 campaign saw promising midfielder Mamadou Camara make his mark with RC Lens' reserve team, showcasing his potential across 23 appearances. While his stats show 2 goals and 1 assist, his technical ability and work rate have caught the eye of development coaches at the French club.

Camara is part of Lens' next generation of talents being groomed for higher levels. His performances in National 2 (France's fourth tier) demonstrate steady progress as he adapts to senior football.
