Valy Konaté has signed with Cercle Bruges on a season-long loan for the 2025-2026 campaign. The Ivorian forward leaves AS Monaco to gain valuable experience in the Jupiler Pro League and inject his energy into the Bruges attack.

Cercle Bruges officially announced the arrival of Valy Konaté on Wednesday, June 25, with the 22-year-old Ivorian forward joining from AS Monaco on a one-year loan deal. Konaté temporarily departs the Principality in search of more consistent playing time in a league where he can truly make his mark.

"Valy is a young, talented left-back whose qualities fit perfectly with our style of play. His athleticism, attacking mindset, and outstanding work ethic truly embody the identity we strive for at Cercle. We're excited to support him in this next phase of his career and to continue contributing to his growth, both as a player and as a person. Welcome to the Green and Black family, Valy," said Luciano Murchio, Cercle Bruges Technical Director, during the announcement.
