Victor Osimhen to reveal his next club in April!

As he wraps up a remarkable season on loan at Galatasaray, the vice-president of the Istanbul club, Abdullah Kavukcu, has hinted at the next destination for Victor Osimhen.

Joining on loan without a purchase option from Naples in September 2024, Victor Osimhen has set the Süper Lig alight. With 28 goals and 5 assists in 32 matches, he has propelled Galatasaray towards an almost certain championship title and redefined his status in the transfer market.

During the summer transfer window, several clubs were tempted to secure the services of the 2023 African Ballon d'Or winner, but to no avail. In a recent public statement, the vice-president of Galatasaray confirmed that five of the world's biggest clubs are showing keen interest in Victor Osimhen. Abdullah Kavukçu made a significant revelation about the Nigerian player's future.

"Osimhen will announce his decision in April. For now, five of the world's biggest clubs are interested in him. His arrival here was a dream. He came and he's playing with us for now. In January, there was talk of a transfer, but he stayed," informed the vice-president of Galatasaray to Mirror.

Despite the absence of a purchase clause, Galatasaray does not rule out retaining their gem. Galatasaray has never hidden its desire to keep Osimhen beyond his loan period.

"He loves Galatasaray a lot. Right now, he is the dream of all our rivals. Although we are focused on winning the title, we have not yet had direct discussions with Victor. There's no need to talk about it now. Galatasaray is a top-level club. If it wasn't, Victor wouldn't have come. His stay at Galatasaray is not as impossible as it seems," concluded Kavukcu.
