World Cup 2026: Arsenal, the number one provider of assists
With an assist in Belgium's dramatic win over Senegal (3-2 after extra time), Leandro Trossard became the sixth Arsenal player to register an assist at the World Cup.
Before him, Martin Ødegaard (3 assists), Viktor Gyökeres (2), Bukayo Saka (2), Gabriel (1), and Declan Rice (1) had already made their mark in this department.
According to Opta, no other club has performed better in terms of assists at this tournament than last season's unlucky Champions League finalist.
