England will face Norway this Saturday, July 11 at 9pm GMT in the quarter-finals of the World Cup

While the Scandinavians are making their debut at this stage of the competition, the Three Lions will play their 11th quarter-final, boasting a record of 3 qualifications and 7 eliminations.

The World Cup quarter-finals have often been a stumbling block for the English, who have fallen at this stage on seven occasions: in 1954, 1962, 1970, 1986, 2002, 2006, and 2022.
