Romelu Lukaku strikes again after coming off the bench. Entering the pitch in the 67th minute against the United States, the 33-year-old striker found the net in the 90+3rd minute. Lukaku scored the fourth goal, cementing the Red Devils' dominance and sealing Belgium’s qualification for the World Cup quarter-finals.
According to Opta, the Napoli forward has become the first player in history to score as a substitute in four different World Cup matches.
Lukaku achieved this feat against New Zealand in the group stage (5-1), versus Senegal (3-2), and this morning, July 7, against the United States. The first time was also against the US team back in 2014 (2-1).
