After Senegal's impressive 4-0 victory over Mauritania on Tuesday night, Pape Gueye and Moussa Niakhaté let loose by poking fun at the four African nations heading into the World Cup 2026 play-offs.

Cameroon, DR Congo, Nigeria, and Gabon are the four African teams set to battle it out in the continental play-offs for a chance to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. The winner will then face an intercontinental play-off with teams from other confederations—a true gauntlet that clearly amused the Lions of Teranga.

During a live stream on social media, former Marseille midfielder Pape Gueye and Lyon's Moussa Niakhaté couldn't resist having a laugh about the situation: "The brawl, look at this brawl. Congo, Cameroon, Nigeria. We're going to fight over there. It's going to be war. The continent! The Gabonese, Aubameyang, Bouanga! Nigeria! Damn, they're going to battle. Who's got the best African food?" joked the two players.

In March, DR Congo will take on Cameroon while Nigeria face Gabon ahead of the first continental final.
