Morocco will be looking to secure their ticket for the 2026 FIFA World Cup during the upcoming international break, which will feature two crucial fixtures against Niger and Zambia, counting for matchdays 7 and 8 of the African qualifiers.

According to Moroccan newspaper Al Mountakhab, the former Ajax Amsterdam star recently met with head coach Walid Regragui to discuss a potential comeback to the 'Den'.

The boss of the 'Lions of the Atlas' urged the player to regain full fitness, which would allow him to attack the 2024-2025 season in top condition.

A challenging season for Hakim Ziyech

The former Chelsea winger endured a disastrous 2024-2025 campaign, having donned the shirts of both Galatasaray and Al-Duhail. He managed to score just one goal and provide two assists in 24 appearances across all competitions.
