France is holding its breath, but the latest updates bring reassurance about Kylian Mbappé. Subbed off before the end of the quarterfinal victory over Morocco (2-0), the Les Bleus captain now appears to be edging closer to a return for the high-stakes showdown with Spain.

The Real Madrid star is having a phenomenal World Cup. In just six matches, he has already netted eight goals, further cementing his status as the focal point of the French attack. Against Morocco, Mbappé once again proved decisive, but his night ended in the 77th minute. After feeling pain in his ankle, he asked to be substituted, sparking concern in the French camp.
