Young Africans respond to Zamalek’s offer for Clément Mzize!
An Egyptian media outlet revealed on Thursday, May 22, the stance of Tanzanian club Young Africans regarding a potential sale of their striker Clément Mzize (21) to Zamalek in the upcoming summer transfer window.
In recent hours, several sources have reported that Zamalek submitted an official bid to bolster their squad with the signing of Mzize.
Negotiations ongoing, but Young Africans reject current offer
A source close to Young Africans told the Egyptian site "Filgoal": "Negotiations with Zamalek are serious, but the proposed offer is less than one million dollars and doesn’t meet our requirements."
The source added: "Talks are ongoing in hopes of reaching an agreement that satisfies both parties."
To recall, Clément Mzize joined Young Africans in the summer of 2022. This season, he has played 24 matches across all competitions, logging 1,050 minutes on the pitch, with 7 goals and no assists to his name.
