Youssouph Dabo leaves AS Vita Club and joins Aliou Cissé
Youssouph Dabo has decided to end his journey with AS Vita Club, a club in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Senegalese coach has chosen to join the technical staff of Aliou Cissé, the new head coach of the national team of Libya.
Arriving at AS Vita Club in July 2024, Youssouph Dabo was tasked with revitalizing the team and aiming for the top of the Congolese championship. However, after just nine months at the helm, he has chosen to resign from his position as head coach.
This rumor had been circulating since the appointment of the former coach of the Lions of Teranga in Libya. Now, it is confirmed. Youssouph Dabo will be alongside Aliou Cissé as the assistant coach of the national team of Libya. It should be noted that the two men are no strangers to each other. They previously collaborated during the Africa Cup of Nations in 2017 and 2019. This new partnership aims to revitalize the "Mediterranean Knights" and restructure the various Libyan national teams.
