🔴 Official: Nabil Kouki appointed as Al Masry head coach!

The Egyptian club Al Masry has officially announced the appointment of Tunisian coach Nabil Kouki as the head of its first team.

After ES Sétif, a new challenge for Kouki in Port Said

This new adventure marks the beginning of a fresh chapter for Kouki, following his recent stint on the bench of ES Sétif in Algeria.

In a statement published on its official X account, Al Masry expressed its confidence in the new coach, declaring: "Kouki is ready for the challenge. Welcome to captain Nabil Kouki, leader of the Green Eagles."

At 55 years old, Nabil Kouki brings a wealth of coaching experience, having begun his managerial career in 2010. In Tunisia, he has led several top-flight clubs, including Club Africain, CS Sfaxien, and Stade Tunisien.

His international track record is equally impressive. He has worked in seven different Arab leagues, coaching Al Hilal of Sudan, Jordan's Al-Faisaly, Al-Ittihad of Libya, Al-Muharraq of Bahrain, Al-Ramtha of Jordan, as well as several Algerian sides such as CR Belouizdad and ES Sétif.

During his most recent spell with ES Sétif, Kouki left at the end of the season after registering six wins, two draws, and eight defeats, including a run of five consecutive losses.

It's worth noting that Kouki is no stranger to Port Said. Back in 1999, while managing Club Africain, he faced Al Masry in the African Cup Winners' Cup and secured a resounding four-nil victory.
