With just days to go before the kick-off of the 2026 World Cup, set to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, excitement is ramping up around the young stars poised to shine on the global stage. According to the latest figures from Transfermarkt, Africa will be particularly well represented among the tournament’s most promising young players. In fact, four African talents feature in the ranking of the top ten most valuable young players at the 2026 World Cup.
Moroccan star Ayoub Bouaddi claims third spot with a market value estimated at €50 million. He’s followed closely by Senegal’s Ibrahim Mbaye, ranked fourth with a valuation of €30 million.
The Senegalese presence continues with Bara Sapoko Ndiaye, who comes in seventh thanks to a market value of €4 million. Finally, Egyptian Hamza Abdelkarim rounds out the Top 10 with an estimated value of €1 million.
