It's another World Cup fiasco for Germany. They are knocked out as early as the round of 16 by Paraguay (1-1, 3-4 on penalties). Antonio Rüdiger (33 years old, 86 caps and 3 goals) highlighted several "problems."

For the Real Madrid center-back, the current squad is no longer "the Germany of years past".

"It's tough, just like the last times. Now, there are problems, that's true. This is not the Germany of the past. It's very clear. Things aren't working, it's really difficult. We knew how Paraguay play. They're solid defensively. We controlled the match, but Paraguay had one chance in the first half and scored right away. I think that sums up our story in recent World Cups," admitted the Madrid defender.
