The Gabon–Ivory Coast clash, set for September 9, promises to be an epic showdown and could well be considered the final of this group. But before that, both sides must first get past their respective fixtures—Gabon’s Panthers face Seychelles, while the Elephants of Ivory Coast take on Burundi.
Only a single point separates the Ivorians and the Gabonese, who are best positioned to secure the group’s ticket ahead of Burundi, currently third with 10 points.
