A Night to Remember: 150,000 Newcastle Fans Celebrate Historic Title After 70 Years!
Newcastle United lived legendary night as tens of thousands of fans filled the streets to celebrate their club’s historic triumph, its first domestic trophy in 7 decades.
The Magpies defeated Liverpool 2 - 1 in the EFL cup final at Wembley on 16 March and 2 week later, the city of Newcastle turned black & white reflecting the immense passion of its devoted supporters.

Fans lined the streets singing club anthems as the open top bus carrying Newcastle's EFL cup trophy made its way through the city.
Several club legends including Les Ferdinand & Alan Shearer, the premier league’s all time top scorer 260 goal, joined the celebrations making the night even more special.
Eddie Howe Honored as Newcastle’s Hero
Newcastle’s head coach Eddie Howe standing on the victory bus was visibly emotional as he addressed the crowd.
Howe's heartfelt words to the fans:
"I don’t have words to describe this moment. thank you for embracing me and my family from day one. I hope we've given you the joy you truly deserve"
The city even paid tribute to Howe by displaying giant banner outside St. James’ Park recognizing his pivotal role in bringing Newcastle back to glory.
