A player of Beninese origin signs in England

This is news that could bring joy all the way to Benin. Zeidane Inoussa will be playing in England next season. At 22, the winger of Beninese descent is joining Swansea City, a club in the English Championship.

The Welsh side has reached an agreement with Swedish club Häcken for a permanent transfer. He will sign a five-year contract and officially join his new club from July 2025. Swansea announced the move on their social media channels.

The Swedish-Beninese winger stood out this season with Häcken, netting 12 goals and providing 9 assists. His performances convinced the English club’s management, who see him as a key addition to Swansea’s attack after the team finished 11th in the last campaign.
