A Qatari club shows interest in Umar Sadiq
On loan this season at Valencia from Real Sociedad, Umar Sadiq might not be heading back to the Basque Country. According to Que Desportes, a club from Qatar is keeping a very close eye on the Nigerian forward and is reportedly ready to put €30 million on the table.
This presents a golden opportunity for Valencia. The Spanish side has a purchase option set at €9 million. They could buy out Umar Sadiq and then immediately sell him on, pocketing a hefty profit in record time.
Under contract with Real Sociedad until 2028, the Nigerian forward has netted 5 goals in 13 La Liga matches this season. That's a solid return for a player often used off the bench, but whose potential remains sky-high.
