Abdellah Ouazane on FC Barcelona's radar

At just 16 years old, Abdellah Ouazane is already making waves at the top level. According to daily newspaper Sport, the young Moroccan midfielder is on FC Barcelona's shortlist. It’s a serious lead, even though no formal offer has been made yet.

Versatile and able to play as a holding midfielder or a box-to-box player, Abdellah Ouazane stands out for his tactical maturity. Trained at Ajax Amsterdam, he has made his mark this season with the U17 team: 11 appearances, one goal, and an assist. But it was especially during the U17 Africa Cup of Nations with the Atlas Cubs that he caught the eye of European scouts.

The Blaugrana are closely monitoring his progress. Their current strategy of rejuvenation and investing in promising talents fits Ouazane’s profile perfectly. For now, the player remains focused on his development at Ajax. But a potential Catalan adventure could soon be on the horizon.
