Abdelwahab Baala and US Boulogne, it’s over

The curtain falls on an adventure that began in 2022. Abdelwahab Baala will no longer don the colors of US Boulogne CO. The northern club has officially announced the departure of its Moroccan-born attacking midfielder.

Arriving three seasons ago from FC Versailles, Abdelwahab Baala quickly established himself as a key figure in Boulogne’s National squad. Hardworking, technically gifted, and fully committed, he played 68 matches wearing the red and black jersey.

At 28, the Villepinte native is now seeking a new challenge. His next destination hasn’t been revealed yet, but several National clubs and teams abroad are reportedly interested, according to sources close to the matter.
