Adam Ounas on the verge of extending his stay at Al Sadd

Free since the end of his contract, Adam Ounas is on the verge of signing a new deal with Al Sadd.

The Algerian international is said to have reached an agreement with the Qatari club for an extension until June 2027. At 28, the right winger appears to have convinced Al Sadd’s management to continue the adventure together.

Having joined on a free transfer from Lille in 2023, Adam Ounas has alternated between flashes of brilliance and quieter spells, but his experience and technical skills remain major assets for the squad. Unless there’s a last-minute twist, the official signing could be announced in the coming weeks.
