Paris Saint-Germain has brilliantly secured its place in the Club World Cup final, currently taking place in the United States.

The French club dominated Real Madrid, the reigning Spanish champions, with a resounding 4-0 victory on Wednesday night at MetLife Stadium in the semifinals.

Fabian Ruiz opened the scoring in the 6th minute. Just three minutes later, Dembélé doubled the lead. By the 24th minute, Ruiz had netted his second of the night, giving PSG a comfortable advantage at halftime.

In the second half, despite Real Madrid's efforts to claw their way back, Paris' defense stood firm, repelling every attack. Gonzalo Ramos sealed the win with a fourth goal in the 87th minute, guaranteeing his team's place in the final.

Luis Enrique: "Barcelona fans keep congratulating me!"

During the press conference, coach Luis Enrique expressed his pride: "My phone is flooded with congratulatory messages from Barcelona fans. Facing a great club like Real Madrid means you have to give your absolute best, because you represent a club, a shirt, and an idea. You have to acknowledge that Real has always been, is, and will remain an exceptional club."

He added: "We want to become the first French club to win every trophy it competes for in a single season. That’s our goal, and we’ll do everything possible to achieve it."

It's worth noting that PSG will face English club Chelsea next Sunday in the final, in the first edition of the Club World Cup with this new format.
