Reports from the Moroccan press reveal that Ajax Amsterdam's management is racing against time to secure a professional contract with its young Moroccan talent, Abdellah Ouazane. He caught the eye during the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations, where he was named the best player of the tournament recently held in Morocco, marking the first historic victory for the "Atlas Lion Cubs."

According to the Moroccan daily Al-Mountakhab, the Dutch club bitterly regrets its delay in placing trust in Ouazane and offering him a professional contract. This situation could now lead to the player being lost for free during the summer transfer window, especially as European giants like Real Madrid and Manchester United are showing increasing interest.

An error that could cost Ajax dearly… Ouazane refuses to sign!

The same source indicates that Ajax's management has repeatedly contacted Hussein Ouazane, the player's father, to start negotiations and sign an official contract. However, he has requested time to consider, disappointed by the club's handling of his son's talent, especially after neglecting him for a long period and refusing to offer him a professional contract despite his outstanding performances.

It should be noted that Abdellah Ouazane has already played for the Netherlands' Under-15 and Under-16 teams before deciding to change his sporting nationality by opting for Morocco with the Under-17 team. He delivered stunning performances in the last edition of the continental competition, earning him numerous accolades and the distinction of best player at the Under-17 AFCON, thanks to his impressive technical skills and influence on the field.
