Al Ahly SC wants to sign a Spanish coach!


After parting ways with Swiss coach Marcel Koller, Egyptian club Al Ahly SC is now looking for a new coach to lead the next period, especially as the new season is approaching and the current season looks set to end on a high note as they continue to lead the league.
Marcel Koller's contract was terminated on 26 April following the Champion's League semi-final exit at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns.

According to press reports, Al Ahly Egypt want to sign former Sevilla coach Garcia Pimienta, who was sacked in April 13 after a series of poor results with the Spanish club, and it seems that the Egyptian team wants to try working with a European coach again.
The Egyptian club's desire to get a coach with a permanent option, especially with the Club World Cup coming up in the United States.
