Reda Slim, still under contract for three more years with Al Ahly, is earning an annual salary of $2.1 million. This amount has become difficult for the Egyptian club to sustain, prompting them to consider parting ways with the Moroccan winger.

According to Sport El Watan, the management is looking to replicate the approach used during Percy Tau's departure. Back in January, the South African joined Qatar SC in a deal structured so that he received all his compensation directly. For Reda Slim, a similar scenario is being planned. The player will be offered to several Gulf clubs in hopes of reaching a mutually beneficial agreement. The goal: to free up space in the wage bill without clashing with the player.

Under the leadership of Josée Riveiro, Al Ahly is actively preparing for the new season. The club aims to maintain a competitive squad while keeping a more balanced financial structure. Slim's departure could therefore be finalized in the coming days.
