Cristiano Ronaldo's broken his silence following Al Nassr’s painful 3 - 2 defeat to Kawasaki Frontale which ended their journey in the AFC Champions League Elite semi finals.

Taking to X , Ronaldo posted:

“Sometimes the dream must wait ... I'm proud of this team and everything we gave on the pitch. Thank you to all the fans who believed in us and stood by us every step of the way. Your support means the world”.

The loss marks major disappointment for both Ronaldo & Al Nassr who were chasing their first ever continental title.

Fans'd pinned high hopes on the Portuguese superstar to deliver continental glory especially after reaching the final once before in 1995.

Since his arrival in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo's yet to lift a major international club trophy, making this exit another frustrating chapter in his pursuit of silverware with Al Nassr.
