Tunisian international Ali Abdi, left-back for OGC Nice, continues his impressive form this season by scoring another decisive goal for the Azurean club.

The defender of the "Eagles of Carthage" netted the winning goal for Nice in the 47th minute, with the score level at 1-1 against Angers. The match, played on Sunday evening at the Allianz Riviera stadium, was part of the 30th round of Ligue 1.

Thanks to this victory, OGC Nice boosts its chances of finishing the season in the top 4, aiming for another European qualification after competing in the Europa League this season.

Impressive stats for Abdi

According to figures from the specialized site Transfermarkt, Ali Abdi has been directly involved in six decisive actions in the championship this season: he has totaled four goals and two assists in 21 Ligue 1 matches.

It's also worth noting that the Tunisian national team player extended his contract with OGC Nice about two months ago, until the end of June 2027.
