Arab Cup 2025: Tunisia suffers its first defeat against Syria with a goal from Omar Khribin!

It seems that things did not go as the Tunisian people and the Tunisian sports fans had hoped in their first match of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 against Syria, as striker Omar Khribin’s goal ended the match with a score of 1-0, making the task more difficult for the Tunisian team in the next match.

The first half of the match began with numerous attempts by the Tunisian national team, who dominated the entire period. However, they were ultimately unable to achieve any positive result, and the first half ended in a goalless draw. In the second half, Omar Khribin, a player for Al Wahda, scored a beautiful free kick against the Carthage Eagles, and the match ended with a 1-0 victory for Syria.

This result will put pressure on the Tunisian national team because they will play an important upcoming match against the Palestinian national team. As for the Syrian national team, they will certainly play a difficult match against the Qatari national team, the last Asian Cup champion and host.
