AS Monaco: Wilfried Singo set for departure

Having joined AS Monaco in 2023, Wilfried Singo could be packing his bags this summer. According to L’Équipe, the club would not be opposed to letting the Ivorian right-back leave should an attractive offer come in.

At 24, Wilfried Singo is still under contract with Monaco until 2028. Yet despite this long-term deal, club management appear open to a move. The player has nevertheless been a consistent performer this season, featuring in 32 matches across all competitions, notching 3 goals and providing 3 assists.

Defensively solid and lightning quick on the break, Wilfried Singo also shone at the last Africa Cup of Nations, which he won on home soil with Ivory Coast. That continental triumph has only boosted his profile on the European market. Several clubs, particularly in Italy and Germany, are said to be keeping a close watch on him. The question now is who will make the first move.
