AS Saint-Étienne: Jebryl Sahraoui set for contract extension

AS Saint-Étienne continues to invest in its young talents. According to Peuple-Vert, Jebryl Sahraoui is set to sign a contract extension with Les Verts until June 2026. Initially tied to the club until 2025, the Algerian U20 international midfielder will continue his journey in the Forez region.

At 20 years old, Sahraoui made his first-team debut this season during a Coupe de France match—a symbolic moment that rewarded the Marseille native’s hard work since joining the club. In parallel, he featured in 10 matches with the reserve team in National 3, recording a goal and an assist.

Blessed with excellent vision and capable of playing as a holding midfielder or box-to-box player, Jebryl Sahraoui is regarded as one of the most promising young prospects in Saint-Étienne’s academy. This yet-to-be-official extension reflects ASSE’s intent to lock down its top prospects ahead of the new season.
