Ascel Essengue loaned to USL until November

Ascel Essengue is on the move. The 22-year-old Cameroonian defender, currently under contract with Los Angeles Galaxy, has been loaned out until November 2025 to Phoenix Rising, a club competing in the USL Championship, the second tier of American soccer.

Hailing from Yaoundé, Essengue operates as a central defender. He’s set to experience a new competitive environment, aiming to earn more playing time and continue his development. The club announced his loan via their social media channels.
