Brazilian icon Ricardo Kaka, the 2007 Ballon d'Or winner has thrown his support behind Mohamed Salah as leading candidate for the 2025 Ballon d'Or naming him alongside several standout stars.

In interview with SPORT Bible, Kaka said:

"It’s still early to say who deserves the Ballon d’or. We must wait for the Champions league final"

He added:

"Mohamed Salah's one of my top picks. Van Dijk's back to his best as well"
