In an interview with the Egyptian channel "On Sport," Marcelo said: "Mohamed Salah is an exceptional player who works tirelessly to support his team and his country. If he manages to win the Champions League next season, his chances of winning the Ballon d'Or will be much higher."
These comments come amid fierce competition among the world's top football talents, such as Ousmane Dembélé, Yamal, Raphinha, Mbappé, and other contenders.
Marcelo praises the new Club World Cup format
Marcelo also expressed his excitement about the new format of the FIFA Club World Cup, which for the first time will feature 32 teams. He believes this change offers fair opportunities to clubs from all confederations.
