Ballon d'Or 2026: British royal family congratulates Harry Kane

On Monday evening, Harry Kane won the 2026 Ballon d'Or for the first time in his career.

Hours after being crowned, the English striker from Bayern Munich received congratulations from Prince William. "My congratulations to Harry Kane on his Ballon d'Or. What a great achievement, and so well deserved! A brilliant captain, an outstanding player, who has given football fans around the world so many unforgettable moments," the member of the British royal family reacted.
