Next Monday, Lamine Yamal is not planning to do things by halves for the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony in London.

As one of the contenders for this year’s prestigious individual award, the young prodigy from FC Barcelona has reportedly already organized his trip down to the smallest detail. Indeed, according to journalist Víctor Navarro, Yamal has personally chartered a private jet to allow his family and friends to accompany him to the English capital.

FC Barcelona have also reportedly arranged private-jet travel for their players nominated for the ceremony. It is a special logistical operation for an evening that could mark a turning point in Lamine Yamal’s career.

Yamal, making preparations like a major winner

Lamine Yamal has reportedly already planned a party in Paris with his team and entourage. This is in the event that he wins the 2026 Ballon d’Or. The celebration has been prepared in advance, without necessarily foreshadowing the result of the vote.

The young Spaniard will face particularly strong competition, with Kylian Mbappé and Harry Kane among the candidates for the award.
