Barcelona could be banned from the UEFA Champions League for the 2025 / 26 season despite winning domestic title this year according to The Times.

UEFA Targets Top Clubs for Financial Breaches

The European football governing body's currently investigating Barcelona, Chelsea and Aston Villa over potential breaches of Financial Fair Play FFP regulations.

Barcelona in Deeper Trouble After Repeat Offense

UEFA's Club Financial Control Body CFCB may impose strict penalties on Barcelona including point deductions or reducing their european squad size.

The Catalan club'd already lost appeal in October and was fined 500,000 euro by the Court of Arbitration for Sport for inaccurate financial reporting.

While that ruling came with warning, fresh violations have reportedly emerged - this time involving the misclassification of long term TV rights revenue to stay within budget limits.

The final decision's expected later this Jun. Chelsea & Aston Villa facing their 1st offenses are likely to receive more lenient treatment compared to Barcelona whose repeated misconduct has raised red flags.
