Barcelona Receive Lucrative Offer to Play Friendly Match in Morocco
Spanish champions Barcelona have received attractive offer to play friendly match in Casablanca, Morocco on 20 Jul, according to Spanish outlet Diario Deportivo.
The proposed fixture comes after historic domestic treble under new coach Hansi Flick with Barca winning la liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super cup last season.
Casablanca Before Asia Tour
The friendly would take place just days before Barcelona kick off their summer tour in Japan & South Korea with preseason training scheduled to begin on 13 Jul. The plan involves same day round trip to Morocco as the flight time's only 2 hours each way.
Big Money , Unknown Opponent
While the identity of the Moroccan opponent remains undisclosed , the club offering to host the game's reportedly willing to pay significant participation fee to secure the match.
Final Call with Flick
Despite the financial upside , the final decision rests with manager Flick known for his meticulous planning around fitness & recovery.
If the fixture doesn’t align with Barca’s physical objectives , the club's expected to decline the invitation with full backing from president Joan Laporta & the board.
