Bayern: Serious injury for Jamal Musiala, the verdict is in
Jamal Musiala

German prodigy Jamal Musiala suffered a serious injury this Saturday during the Club World Cup quarter-final between PSG and Bayern. The verdict for the young German talent is now known!

On Saturday night, during the Club World Cup quarter-final between PSG and Bayern Munich, Jamal Musiala got injured. In a clash with Gianluigi Donnarumma, the German midfielder’s ankle clearly twisted.

"It's a situation where you accept the risk of injuring the player. In my opinion, it's a challenge you should not make. But we’re crossing our fingers that it’s not too serious, even though it probably is. To go in like that is to take a big risk. He simply accepts the opponent's injury. And then nothing happens, no sanction," remarked Manuel Neuer, who harshly criticized the Parisian goalkeeper's dangerous intervention.

Already, in the early hours of Sunday, the verdict was delivered for the Bavarian wonderkid. According to Bild, Jamal Musiala has suffered a fractured fibula, with several ligaments also damaged in the incident. The German outlet expects him to be sidelined for four to five months—a significant absence that means he might not return before December, but still less severe than some who feared he could miss the entire 2025/2026 season.
