Benghazi International Stadium Reopens After 16 Years with Star-Studded Event
After 16 years of closure, the world is now witnessing the official opening of Benghazi International Stadium with grand ceremony featuring some of the biggest legends of world football.
The stadium originally built in 1969, has been closed since 2009 for renovations and later abandoned due to the political situation in Libya. It was recently upgraded under the supervision of the libyan development and reconstruction fund, expanding its capacity to 42000 seats and ensuring it meets international standards.
