Bennacer and Zerrouki back on the field!

The Algerian international Ismaël Bennacer has returned to the field after recovering from the muscle injury that sidelined him before his team's match against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes. This match ended with a victory for Achraf Hakimi's teammates over their historic rival (3-1).
Italian coach of Olympique de Marseille, Roberto De Zerbi, has unveiled the list of players called up to face Reims away. The Algerian midfielder is among those selected.
During his press conference ahead of the match scheduled for this Saturday, Roberto De Zerbi stated: "I think the international break came at the right time, especially for the injured players. Bennacer and Murillo are ready, but I don't want to take any risks. We'll see."
Bennacer had missed the last two matches of the Greens against Botswana and Mozambique, counting for the 5th and 6th days of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
After two months of absence, Zerrouki returns to training
Meanwhile, Dutch sources have indicated that Algerian international Ramiz Zerrouki (26 years old) has resumed collective training with Feyenoord Rotterdam, after more than two months of absence due to injury.
The "Foxes" player hopes to regain a starting spot in coach Robin van Persie's eleven, as well as the trust of Algeria's coach Vladimir Petković, ahead of the Fennecs' upcoming fixtures.
However, he will face increased competition, notably from Hicham Boudaoui and Ahmed Kendouci, who shone in the last two matches against Botswana and Mozambique.
