The Moroccan side secured the 2025 CAF Confederation cup thanks to their 2 - 0 win in the 1st leg, claiming 3rd title after previous triumphs in 2020 & 2022.

They now sit joint top in all time Confederation cup wins with Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien (3 titles) surpassing giants like Mazembe, Etoile du Sahel, Raja Casablanca and Zamalek.

Berkane could’ve already had 5 Confederation cup trophies, if not for Zamalek’s decisive interventions in 2019 & 2024 finals:

2019: Berkane won 1 - 0 at home but lost on penalties after Zamalek’s 1 - 0 win in Cairo.

2024: Berkane again led 2 - 1 at home but Zamalek won 1 - 0 away and claimed the cup with the away goals rule.
