Besiktas steps up pursuit for Noah Okafor
Noah Okafor's future appears to be moving away from AC Milan. According to Sky Sport Germany, Besiktas has submitted a concrete offer for the 25-year-old striker.
Signed in 2023 from RB Salzburg, Okafor never truly managed to establish himself with the Rossoneri. In 53 appearances, he scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists, but never really managed to convince.
Loaned to Napoli last spring, he made four appearances without scoring or providing an assist. Nevertheless, he was part of the squad that won the Serie A title. Now, Milan no longer considers him a key part of their future plans. The club is reportedly open to a transfer this summer. Trained at FC Basel and of Nigerian descent, Okafor has 21 caps for Switzerland. Despite a mixed season, his profile still attracts interest. It remains to be seen whether Milan will accept the Turkish club’s offer or wait for a better proposal.
