Nigerian midfielder Ridouane Assane stands out as the top tackler in the 8th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024).

With 10 successful tackles, he leads ahead of Burkina Faso's Josaphat Ouattara (9 tackles) and Angola's Mafuta (8 tackles).

At 23 years old, the AS Garde Nationale du Niger player has impressed with his relentless work rate and his ability to win duels.

In addition to his 10 tackles, he has made 2 interceptions and cleared the ball 4 times during the two matches against Guinea and Uganda in Group C.

With a rating of 6.80, he holds the 125th spot in the ranking of the best players at the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024), according to statistics from the specialist site SofaScore.
