Botola Pro (Matchday 26): Date confirmed for the Raja-Wydad Derby

The Moroccan Professional League's Competition Commission has set the date for the Casablanca derby between Raja and Wydad, counting for the 26th matchday of the Botola Pro. The encounter will take place at the Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca, following significant renovations in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Moroccan derby, considered one of the biggest in Africa, is distinguished by an exceptional atmosphere, where fiery chants and spectacular tifos captivate football enthusiasts worldwide.

The Raja-Wydad Derby scheduled for April 12

It has been decided that the Casablanca derby will take place on Saturday, April 12, with an organization in line with the current standards for matches of the national team, the Atlas Lions.

This meeting is of crucial importance for both teams, who are going through a rough patch in terms of results, especially after the historic triumph of RS Berkane, crowned Moroccan champions for the first time in their history

Wydad, currently third with 43 points, aims for a victory that would allow them to move up to second place and thus secure their return to the CAF Champions League. Meanwhile, Raja, eighth with 37 points, will attempt to improve their ranking to secure a qualifying spot for the CAF Confederation Cup.
